The Montessori Teaching / Learning method is based on the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori. She found that by providing a child specially designed educational materials, coupled with a nuturing environment of motivation, self-discipline, and encouragement - prompted that child to readily absorb new information and perfect their natural tools for learning.

This 'pre-school' learning can have a great impact on a child's social, personal, and cognitive skills in the future.

We welcome you to Pennsylvania Avenue Montessori (P.A.M.) School. We the administration and our staff consider it an honor and a privilege to have been picked by you for the education of your Child's formative years.

Our teachings are based on the principles of Maria Montessori (the Founder of Montessori Education). Our curriculum establishes clear and far-reaching goals of learning. We also stress responsible student behavior coupled with academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
